My research lies at the intersection of regulation and corporate governance, with a focus on how each of these elements affects disclosure and the communication of information. I study how regulatory and legal changes shape corporate insiders' actions, shape managerial disclosure, and affect shareholder communication. I am currently on the 2026 - 2027 academic job market with an expected graduation date in May of 2027.

My dissertation specifically investigates how the SEC's modernization of insider trading regulations changes stock donation behavior from insiders. I document a deterrence of charitable giving that is not explained by seemingly information-driven donations, the primary concern of the SEC. Other projects explore shareholder proposals and voting, shareholder litigation, and managers' guidance decisions.
